A loft stamp is a weigh, not a nickname.
The hopper takes a face, a few rolls on our short carpet, and a clipboard. It does not take a tour-player number you circled in a magazine.
What goes in the hopper
You bring the putter that already told on you. We mark where the first hop dies, where the skid ends, and where the roll actually starts. Those three marks are the weigh. Loft is the stamp we put on the ticket after the weigh, never before.
If the hop dies late, loft is too high for this bermuda. If the skid never ends, loft is too low. If both happen on the same morning, Missouri humidity is in the mix and we name a climate before we name a degree.

- Tour-bag degrees with no skid story
- A request to "just make it 3" because a neighbor said so
- A second putter you want blessed without a weigh
